Description

EFT: Often referred to as ‘Tapping’. EFT is a self-help technique that combines gentle tapping on specific acupuncture points with verbal affirmations, based on the premise that negative emotions are caused by disruptions in the body's energy system. Tapping on these points is believed to help restore balance to the energy system and promote emotional well-being. EFT is often used to address anxiety, stress, trauma, and other emotional challenges. This is a seated practice that does not require physical movement. Yoga Nidra: Yoga Nidra (meaning ‘Yogic Sleep’) is a practice that cultivates a state of "conscious sleep" where the body rests deeply, but the mind remains awake and aware. It is described as a state between wakefulness and sleep, allowing the mind to be quiet and the nervous system to enter a state of deep rest and repair. Unlike traditional meditation, it is a passive and effortless ‘guided meditation’ technique that requires no forcing or concentration. Research indicates Yoga Nidra may help reduce stress, improve sleep quality, manage chronic pain, and enhance creativity and concentration.

Cancellation Policy

Advance Booking: - We politely ask that all members and non members pre book their classes online to avoid classes being over subscribed. You are welcome to ‘drop in’ but we can’t guarantee spaces will be available if not booked in advance. Payment Methods: - We accept payments for memberships via card or bank transfer only.  - We can accept cash for ‘drop in’ sessions. Cancellation Policies: - Classes can be cancelled up to 2 hours before the session to allow as much flexibility as possible. Late Cancellations/No-Shows: - Late cancellations or no-shows may result in the loss of the class credit or a charge for the session.  Arrival Time: - Students are often asked to arrive at least five minutes before the class start time to avoid disturbing others.  Late Entry: - We politely ask that participants try to arrive 10-15 minutes before their session. - We do however understand that punctuality and ‘rush hour’ are not friends and we don’t want anyone to be stressed in the pursuit of getting to a class on time so we are always striving to find balance between reasonability and respect for the practices. - Classes must start on time out of respect for the practices and the participants but if you arrive 2-3 minutes late for a pre booked class then we simply ask that you enter the room as quietly as possible. We must however have a cut off point of 5 minutes after the class start time to avoid lateness becoming disruptive to other people’s practice.  Valuables: - Class participants are responsible for their own belongings whilst at The Resonance Centre. The Resonance Centre CIC cannot accept responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.  Appropriate Attire: - We advise comfortable clothing that allows for free movement. We also advise that  participants to remove jewellery to avoid injury or damage to mats. Hygiene: - Please always ensure that you are clean for practice. This is a yogic discipline and shows respect for your surroundings Yogis.  Health Information: - Please inform the instructor of any injuries, health conditions, or discomfort they experience during the class.  Assumption of Risk: - Please acknowledge that yoga involves physical activity and that anyone participating does so at their own risk.  Discretion: - The Resonance Centre CIC and those teaching classes reserve the right to prohibit participation if they believe it's unsafe for a student to practice or if someone poses a risk to others.
